Massive Change Exhibition
XD Design, Graphic Design
The exhibition, commissioned by the Vancouver Art Gallery, explores how design can be used as a methodology to address the problems inherent to our social, economic and political systems. It looks at the implementation of new ideas and technologies to address issues like environmental sustainability and poverty.
Leading the team of eight post-graduate students, I designed exhibit graphics and signage, and all related collateral; supervised print production and installation. When the exhibition travelled to Toronto, I recreated the exhibition in the new space, starting with the user flows and architectural models, and ending with installation and ad campaign.
Result: The opening night at VAG attracted over 5,000 visitors. Overall attendance was one of the highest in gallery history. Based on this success, the exhibition traveled to Toronto and Chicago.
