ArtBomb is a curated, subscriber-based auction and e-commerce site featuring work by Contemporary Canadian artists. Its mission: to provide easy access to original Canadian art, highlight emerging local artists and create a new way for busy professionals to buy unique works of art daily.
The identity reflects ArtBomb's positioning as an online gallery, as opposed to a digital marketplace. The wordmark was inspired by Futurist typography and graffiti stencils. In addition to identity design, I worked directly with the developer to bring the site online ahead of ambitions launch date.
Result: the site launched to favourable reviews from local media, including Toronto Star, and the company has since expanded nationally.
